I think I should introduce some of my new friends here now… ( details about the picture on the side are at the end :) )
( apologizies if the sentences are wierd. Its the first time I use the speech dictation tool on my compuer. Talking to your computer creates different sentences than when trying to write...)
Terry –I'm not very last week when trying to have a business meeting she works at one of the company's I went to check. For some reason the next day she called me and asked to meet. I asked her why we Meet and the answer I must say wasn't very clear. It didn't feel like a business meeting and we actually came quite friends. she's learning English and she wants to know more and I want to know more Chinese would so we just teach each other.
Peter – There's one website here for the foreigners. Well, actually there are bunch of them, like two or three. But, Dalian expats seems like the main one. so I posted there a message saying that I'm want to meet new people here, Chinese people. Peter answered my message and we did Meet. I met him once and just walked around town with him. The second time I went to his University. Peter is a grad student at the technological university of Dalian. I want to visit him and also met some with his friends. They were really nice and even invited me to stay with them if we need. That's because now it's summertime and many people go home, so they have some space available in the room if I want to come ….
Jessica – Jessica is a Jewish girl from Pennsylvania, I think I already itroduced her on the blog. Anyway, she's about to leave back to the United States in a week. She is an intern here in a construction company. She also made some friends here since he's already here for three months. Yesterday me and Udi went with her to meet her friends. She has friends operating a climbing wall In a commercial center here. She goes there every day to practice, so this time we also joined her.
Jessica was the first one to climb. So when she climbed many people just gathered under the wall and kept looking at her. she's quite good…. I had the next try . So when I started climbing not only that I really did bad ( Im not so fond of wall climbing) but after I got off the wall I looked back and saw that the whole crowd was gone!
After finishing with the wall we went to Starbucks and met another two friends of hers. one of them is Lulu and the other is Lisa ( as you see all Chinese people has English names) .
Clark – Clark is a friend of Irit's teacher. He joined us last week to a trip up north to some park. Don't remember the name of the park, sorry…
Now, do you know this computer game called ma jong? So that apparently China's Shesh Besh game. So I asked Clark to teach me this game. I haven't met him yet to do that I think I'm gonna call him today.
So this is the list of my new friends here in
China, hoping it will grow :)
* Do you see what's in the picture? Yes, you're not wrong. It's a beehive!!
And guess where the thing is? It's here in the middle of town one minute walking from our hotel. You just walked out of our door and in the middle of all those cars, roads and people, there just bunch of beehives. So once in a few days I go to the owners to have a look and also improving my Chinese a little ( "Wo
